TREATMENTS

EXTRACTIONS

Dental extractions are performed by carefully removing the tooth from its socket in a way to preserve the surrounding bone for implant placement. Extractions are performed due to decay, infection, or root canal failure.

IMPLANTS

Dental implants are small titanium posts that are surgically placed into the jawbone in order to replace a missing tooth. The implant acts as the root of the tooth and over the course of three months heals into the bone, becoming secure in place through a process called osseointegration.

BONE GRAFT

Bone grafts are sometimes necessary to due insufficient bone volume in the jaw. This can be caused by multiple factors such as tooth loss, periodontal disease, and trauma. This procedure involves transplanting bone tissue in order to promote bone growth to help provide structural support for an implant.

INTERNAL SINUS LIFT

This procedure is performed in order to increase bone height in the upper jaw to create space for an implant. This is done by lifting the sinus membrane and placing bone graft material in the space created.
This procedure is necessary as a result of bone loss or natural anatomy of the individual’s sinus.

CROWNS/
BRIDGES

A crown is a single tooth replacement, whereas a bridge is used to replace multiple missing teeth. These can be performed on both implants as well as natural teeth and provide a fixed solution. We use both porcelain and zirconia to achieve a beautiful esthetic and functionality.

TEMPORARY TEETH

Temporary teeth are available for teeth that are visible in the smile line. They are placed over the dental implant during the healing period and serve as a placeholder for the permanent restoration.
